This is the first Sunday when we won't be meeting together for public worship in our churches. It is particularly poignant that this coincides with Mothering Sunday: as we grieve the loss of this opportuity to be together as God's pepole, gathered around the altar, we are invited to deepen our connection with each other through pray and pastoral care.
One way of doing this, is to share in a national service led by Archbishop Justin on the BBC. It is possible to join in with when it goes live tomorrow, Sunday 22nd March, at 09.00. You can find a preview and down load an order of service here.
For those looking for a resource to use at home with children tomorrow, here is a link to a reflection on the story of baby Moses led by Margaret Houston from the Diocese of St Albans which can be found here.
Today's readings and a short refelction can be found here, on my blog: Mothering Sunday reflections
Our have recording a song of blessing for today, which can be found on our Facebook page.
