Pastoral Care during the Vacancy

While the role of Vicar is vacant we are keen to ensure people still have access to pastoral care via the Parish. This will of course not be as full as that provided by an incumbent;  However help and a chance to discuss  is available from Churchwardens, our Parish  Administrator and  PCC members.

Home Communion
This can be arranged with one of our team of Eucharistic Ministers.  Please consult one of the Churchwardens or the Parish Administrator.

Priest Visit to Sick and Dying 
The Churchwardens can arrange this with the Area Dean. Please ask if you are in need.

Baptism 
Baptisms can be done by priests on our rota for the Eucharist. Application should go through the Parish Office and the form will be forwarded by the Churchwardens to the visiting priest for the agreed date, so that he or she can discuss with the family. 

Confirmation
There will be no confirmation classes during the Vacancy but if you are anxious to be confirmed the  Churchwardens can put you in touch with the Area Dean to discuss further.

Weddings and Funerals

Please ask one of the Churchwardens if you wish to plan a wedding in church or need to organise a funeral. We will advise you on booking the service.
