We included the text of George Herbert's poem "Love bade me welcome" in our booklet of prayers and services for Holy Week, to be read as part of our reflection on Maundy Thursday. Here, Julie shares a sermon on that poem - as we reflect on the Last Supper, the washing of feet and the invitation to watch and wait with our Lord, not in church but in our homes and gardens.
